Here I’ll be listing the restaurants that offer a gluten free menu as well as the one that don’t have one and the choices you can make there. I’ll be starting with the ones I’ve tried in Dallas – where I live at the moment – and eventually, maybe with your help, I will be able to add other places outside of the DFW area.

Max’s Wine Dive
This place is great. I was a little apprehensive to go because I was told that the food was not as good and that the menu wasn’t gluten-free friendly. I’m glad I went. This place is great! And they have an awesome – although limited – gluten free selection, just look for this symbol: in their menu. Also, some items are seasonal**. With various locations in Texas, I recommend you visit; their gluten-free fried chicken is A.W.E.S.O.M.E!
- Wild Mushroom & Goat Cheese Omelet
- Arugula & Peach Salad**
- Heirloom Tomato Salad**
- Bigeye Tuna**
- The Standard
- Wild Salmon

The food at this place is amazing. They don’t have a specific gluten free menu, but when you talk to them the chef will let you know what you can eat safely. Their menu is a take on South American cuisine, and me coming from the South American Capital – Miami – was very pleased with the taste of their food.
This is an email from Nazca Kitchen: Thanks for messaging us. I have some great news for you. About 85% of our menu is gluten free or can be made with our gluten. Everything from our Nazca Roasted Chicken to our Fish Ceviche. Just ask for a manager and we can guide you through your order.
This is what I ordered: (BTW, this was my first Gluten Free meal at a restaurant, you can tell by the “safeness” of it! )
– Brazilian cheese bread (it is gluten-free and yummy and it is not on the menu but you can order it.)
- Flame-Grilled Butterfly Chicken Breast
- Steamed Vegetables
- Fried Yuca

Taverna by Lombardi – Authentic Italian Fare
When I started the Gluten Free diet, one of the things I missed the most was eating pasta, bread, and pizzas. Thankfully I found this place. Taverna by Lombardy is a charming Italian restaurant that offers great food, great service, and great location. And to make things even better, they have a great gluten-free menu and knowledgeable staff.
I ordered the flatbread and spaghetti carbonara. One word to describe it… AMAZING! If you enjoy Italian food you must stop by this restaurant, you won’t regret it. Take a look at their menus: Brunch | Lunch | Dinner
